COVID-19 Reopening Update

Just like other agencies across the country, Family Service of Chester County has felt the effects of the coronavirus on how we operate and continue to serve the community. Though challenged, we have remained strong in our mission to promote the well-being of families and individuals and advocate for change.

Family Service has an internal coronavirus (COVID-19) task force that is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation, following the guidelines from the CDC and local health officials. We continue to place the highest priority on the health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, clients, neighbors and community partners. In our active efforts to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, our staff continues wherever possible to work remotely. Once our offices reopen, you can expect protective measures, including symptom screening and mandatory masks, to be enforced for everyone’s safety.

Especially during the current pandemic, Family Service has proven to be a critical resource to our community. Through the utilization of telehealth as well as the commitment from our team to provide in-person care, Family Service has been working in overdrive to support all of our programs in this unpredictable environment. We look forward to the day when we can fully reopen our offices, but in the meantime, we take pride in the work and care we are providing.

Take care,

Lauren Piotrowski
